Beatty Cohan, a nationally-recognized psychotherapist and sex therapist, views a college relationship as a topic that many young college students aren’t educated about.  

“If you’re looking to hook up none of this matters, if you’re looking for something serious there has to be communication,” said Cohan.

 MSU students like Maria Pfaffinger, feel there are plenty of problems when being in a relationship  and it can be even more problems when your relationship is long distance, something she has realized through her own college experience.

"Taking time to talk to the person and not getting wrapped up in other people," said Pfaffinger when she expressed he common struggles with have a relationship in college.
